The castle of Coudray Montpensier classed as a historical monument is located in front of the Deninière – the birth hause of the renaissance writer François Rabelais (1494 – 155). This edifice has been beautifully renovated since 2005, so that everyone can appreciate its fabulous architectural and cultural setting.

The remarcable french gardens, artwork of a landscaper Albert Laprade, were designed at the request of an aircraft manufacturer Pierre Georges Latecoère, the owner of the estate in the 1930s. And it’s particularly in the ancien stables of the castle, built in the 18th century, where you can organize your receptions (180 guests seated – capacity can be double if we add a barnum placed side by the reception room).
